On December 4, Dr. Jiandong Ding visited our lab and gave us a brief introduction about the recent research progress in his group. Dr. Ding is a professor in Department of Macromolecular Science at Fudan University. He is also the director of the State Key Laboratory of Molecular Engineering of Polymers.  During his talk, Dr. Ding briefly introduced his research on medical applications of polymeric materials, including micro/nanopattern on hydrogel for studying cell differentiation, tissue engineering and drug delivery.

After the talk, Dan met with Dr. Ding to discuss a potential collaboration. Dr. Ding also met with some of our lab members and discussed the recruitment policy for young scientists at Fudan University.
