Rong gets the AkzoNobel Award for Outstanding Graduate Research in Polymer Chemistry

Dan (right) traveled to the American Chemical Society Meeting in Denver to participate in a half-day symposium for the AkzoNobel Award for Outstanding Graduate Research in Polymer Chemistry honoring lab postdoc Dr. Rong Tong (holding plaque) for his work done while a graduate student in the lab of Dr. Jianjun Cheng (left) at UIUC. JJ was once a postdoc in the Langer lab. The gentleman between Rong and Dan is Dr. K.J. van den Berg from AkzoNobel, who hosted the event and was kind enough to invite us out to dinner.
