On February 25th, Brian Timko, Brian McAlvin and Dan won the first-ever $25,000 MIT Sloan Healthcare Innovations Prize! Together, they developed technologies to treat and monitor sepsis, which is the leading cause of death among critically-ill patients. Their team, GoodSIRS, presented a plan to commercialize that technology. Congratulations Brian, Brian and Dan!
