Baby Nikolaos has arrived! On October 1st, Borja Salvador and his wife Evi welcomed their first child into the family. Niko was born at 11:12pm, 3.425 Kg and 50 cm long.
As of 10/1/12, Joe Ciolino was promoted to Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. There was much rejoicing in the lab.

On May 17th, full Professorship at Harvard Medical School was formally conferred on Dan (seated, on extreme left, next to Prof. Paul Hickey, his Chairman). The actual promotion went through in February. And so it goes.
On December 2nd, the Kohane group gathered to celebrate the annual tradition from Dan’s homeland, called the Escalade. Bozhi Tian and his wife Xiaoying’s baby has arrived! Baby Colin Tian arrived early, and was born on Monday, August 22, 7 pounds and 9 ounces and 12.5 inches long.
