    As of 10/1/12, Joe Ciolino was promoted to Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. There was much rejoicing in the lab.

Ceremony for Promotion

On May 17th, full Professorship at Harvard Medical School was formally conferred on Dan (seated, on extreme left, next to Prof. Paul Hickey, his Chairman). The actual promotion went through in February. And so it goes.

Escalade Party

    On December 2nd, the Kohane group gathered to celebrate the annual tradition from Dan’s homeland, called the Escalade. Annual Lab Retreat

Lab members gathered at the annual retreat of the Langer Lab at Robert Langer’s beach house on the Cape.  The weather was beautiful, the food plentiful.
