Education: Kavitha majored in neuroscience at the University of Pennsylvania. She attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman School of Medicine, and completed her masters in translational research there as well.

She went on to complete her pediatrics residency at New York Presbyterian Columbia (CHONY) and is currently a critical care fellow at Boston Children’s Hospital.

Research interests: Kavitha is interested in researching immune modulation in critical illness and neuroinflammation.

Hobbies: Running, baking, pet sitting.
