Baby Nikolaos has arrived! On October 1st, Borja Salvador and his wife Evi welcomed their first child into the family. Niko was born at 11:12pm, 3.425 Kg and 50 cm long.

As of 10/1/12, Joe Ciolino was promoted to Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Harvard Medical School. There was much rejoicing in the lab.
Dr. Weldon received his medical and doctoral degrees (Pharmacology) from Tulane University. His interests include the development of novel delivery vehicles and agents with surgical and oncologic implications.
On December 2nd, the Kohane group gathered to celebrate the annual tradition from Dan’s homeland, called the Escalade. Dan travelled to Seoul, Korea, to participate in meetings and a conference relating to the collaboration with the Langer Lab at MIT and Korea University. While there, he took the opportunity to visit the pediatric intensive care units at Seoul National University and Asan Medical Center.
