On Columbus Day (Sunday, October 12th), Borja Salvador Culla participated in the 14th Annual B.A.A. Half Marathon presented by the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund. On October 1st, Rong Tong was promoted to Instructor of Anaesthesia at Boston Children’s Hospital. He has been working in the lab for 4 years and his research focuses on the development of new biomaterials for nanomedicine, including light-triggered drug delivery.

On Wednesday, March 25th Dr. Brian McAlvin gave a talk at the 10th Annual Symposium in Cellular, Molecular and Clinical Research in Surgery. The Symposium took place in the Folkman Auditorium inside the Enders Building at Boston Children’s Hospitlal.
